Core 2 Duo; just statistically it's generally Core 2 Duo, Core Duo, then AMD Turion 64 X2 (with Core 2 Duo being the best)

    "32KB+32KBL2 Cache"

Is that right? I could've sworn the L2 on Core 2 Duo's was 2 MB..

the 6700 and 6800 are 2MB, and i believe the quadcore is as well, but not this

Intel. In addition to always seeming better, you have 2 cores, not one.

    2 cores kills Hyper Threading.

Intel is basically just stuffing cores into processors.

They admitted already that the Quad isn't really a "Quad" but more of a processor with 2 core 2 duo's stuck together.

Later they said they will release better quads.

AMD Athlon 64 X2 is also dual core and it isn't a Turion processor. AMD's processor is 90nm and Intel is 65nm which mean Athlon's one will probably heat more (AMD processors are well known for that) and I would recommend to buy a better heatsink if you chose it.
