Need Php Platinum installation Guide !

Dear Corey & Senior Staff Members

Thanks for your kind of helping me , i am uploading pnp files and as i read installation guide it says ===>>> execute platinum.sql on the database ? what its mean? can any one explain it

to execute platinum.sql you will have to access cpanel.

These step is optional if database & user have been created. but if you have not created it yet create the database and user by going to the mysql databases in cpanel. then go to phpmyadmin. and proceed to the next step.

but if you already have d/base and user then go to phpmyadmin

you will see a drop down box for you to select the database related to platinum script if you have already created it.

after you will see an import tab click it and now import the platinum.sql.

i hope it is not a large file since the max limit is 51200 kb

i already have DB name and Uname, now just i want to ask that where to upload that Platinum.sql file ? i mean in which folder ?
cause it was asking for Execute the Platinum.sql ?

if i am not wrong then it be must in < public_html/html/DB ? folder? if i am wrong please tell me the correct way to execute it

i have added screen shots to help you. the only way you currently have to execute an sql is via phpmy admin but not in a folder. it is possible if ssh is available.

access cpanel look for phpmyadmin as you can see in the screen shot. click the link name a new tab will open.



you will see phpmyadmin layout. click drop down box to find your database. then click the database




now you will a few tabs, click the import tab..



then you browse for the platinum.sql file and import it. but there is a max limit is 51200 kb

the other way by clicking the sql tab in the platinum database as seen in the last screen shot then opening platinum.sql via notepad then select all and paste in text area and clicking ok..

ps: you will not see operations and privileges tabs since the screen shots are from the local test server.

yes, it should be possible to edit the intro.

log into your admin account.

your_site_url/admin.php

now go to the home link or index file.

your_site_url/index.php

you will see alot of text and below the text

[ View: All Visitors - Unlimited - Edit ]

now you click the edit link to edit it..

and then save changes..

Brother right now my site is under construction process, cause uploading Pnp files ;) and will setup admin user after finishing my pnp files uploading. The actually mean of this question is that can i put Flash Intro ? or not :x
