    Ports

    What ports do the servers generally use?
    i'd like to know so i could test out random fsockopen thigns on my localhost.

    Well, before you can test if it is up or down, you need to know the ports you want to check.

    21 - FTP
    25 - Email (SMTP)
    80 - HTTP
    110 - Email (POP3)
    443 - HTTPS
    3306 - MySQL
