    Ads in Joomla?

I'm pretty sure this has been answered somewhere, but I couldn't find it. How exactly do I place ads in Joomla?

You can put X10 ads code inside a custom module.
    Simple tutorial:
    • Go to Modules --> Site Modules.
    • Click on New (upper right corner).
    • Type your module name (eg. Powered By), then check one of the radio button to show the title or not.
    • Choose your desired module position (left / right / bottom / user1 / user2/ etc).
    • Leave Module Order & Access Level to default.
    • Select Yes on Published .
    • Scroll down to Custom Output.
    • Click on HTML to bring HTML popup editor on your content editor.
    • Paste X10 ads code there, then click Apply/Save
    • Save your new module.
    • Well done, refresh your page and see the result

You can PM me for any other Joomla question ;)

Thanks Veivei, I was looking for the answer to this also. However, your instructions didn't quite work becasue you also need to install the html module for joomla.

The detailed instructions are at http://forums.x10hosting.com/tutoria...ds-joomla.html

    Re: Ads in Joomla?

Actually the default mambot editor for custom output will support a HTML codes inside a module. But seems like the editor won't load properly here, this is the issue that I currently trying to figure out why. The same goes to any wysiwyg editor mambot installed to my joomla site or maybe your joomla site too.
