If you're still only using the template provided by SMF, I think you should wait to ask for feed back once you've modified the template some. Right now, anyone commenting on the design would only be commenting on someone else's work.
As for the subject 'anything computer or video game related'; it's been done before, and you'll have to come up with something really unique to make it work. If this is your first website, treat this as a learning experience. Make mistakes now, when it doesn't matter, so you don't end up making them later.

Hi this looks very familiar, so I think you should first change your theme...but still good one but I think like 'The_Magistrate' said your forum should be unique. But what's happened has happened and you have created a good forum, but now you should add something innovative that other forums lack. So I say read the recommendations carefully, you never know where a jewel is hidden. ;)
Yeh, like the others have said, you haven't done anything with the default theme for SMF. The only thing to suggest your site has anything to do with gaming is your name: "ElementFX Gaming".
You should try download one of the other themes from the SMF website: http://custom.simplemachines.org/themes/
There are plenty of gaming-related themes already there!
If not, you can try and modify and create your own theme, just play around with the style.css file and related theme images. This link might help you with that: http://docs.simplemachines.org/index...0;sort=subject
