    Getting a great forum running...

    Hey all,

I was just wondering which forum x10hosting is using here and how much modification it takes to get it as tidy and clean as it is!?

I run a simple phpbb2 and really DON'T like the layout all that much and I was wondering if any of you had an advice on
    a) how to clean it up

    b) any easy ways for someone simple (like me!) to clean it up (i.e. templates?)

    c) the 'best' forum to use (i.e. for me, one that has all the copy+paste functionality that this one has, plus the uploading attachments feature, plus 'much much more' haha)

    d) if I do upgrade it, will I be able to keep my files and all my posts or is that it? Caput?

I highly recommend mybb. It is very easy to use and looks really nice!
You can import your current forums, but it takes some work. The converter is in testing stages, and you have to ask them to give you permission to test.
If you want, I'd convert your forum if you want to switch to mybb.
I used to use phpbb, but got hit really hard by spammers. I switched to mybb, and haven't had a problem.

By the way, you can't allow other users on your forum to upload files on x10hosting.
    x10hosting uses vBulletin
