    Having a problem on my site.

    I am the Owner/Founder and one of the developers of GSW.Boards (Forum Software)
    We are looking for a host and we found this one that supports php and other codings... So I set up my website. I just want to know how to do I set up my forum on the community page of our Website.

    http://www.gswboars.PCRiot.com (I messed up on the name sorry)

    I have the files for the website I just need to know how do I set up my community forum for my website.

    If you developed the software, shouldn't you know how to set it up? Are you just having troubles accessing the database?

    You'd prolly need a SQL DB setup unless you're using flatfiles

    I would recommend you use a complete forum application like phpBB2, or SMF. You can install these using your fantastico suite in your cPanel. That saves you the trouble of worrying about databases and scripting. Of course, you must place a link to that forum on your main website.

    If you are prepared to rebuild your site, consider moving to a comprehensive content management system such as Drupal, Wordpress, Joomla, Xoops etc., which have integrated forum applications.
