phpbb delay

Hi all,

as the topic says, when I use the phpbb forums, I can post topics and change admin settings, but sometimes it takes quite a while to post/change something, and I have to retry several times before I can actually make it work.
Any ideas on how to solve this?

maybe its just the server latency or some global mysql problems?
