    Serious PHP Problem

Since PHP was changed for all users, I have had some serious problems with my website. I use a CMS (Joomla) which is heavily based on PHP scripts. For example, many add-in modules no longer worked, due to "security errors" that never occured before. Most of these problems could be fixed by changing the PHP settings in my user account. However, there are still some issues related to uploading files using the CMS. I used to be able to manage my files (upload, edit, rename and delete), directly from inside Joomla, without having to log in to CPanel. Now, none of this works. This also means that I can't install Joomla addons (modules, components etc.) anymore. Is there any solution for this?

If you requested the update and have waited at least an hour - hour and a half after it was accepted, and still having issues - post the problem : http://forums.x10hosting.com/news-an...l-servers.html

According to my account settings panel, I now have PHP version 3. The problem with file management I explained above still remains. Apparently even PHP v3 still blocks some important functions that are required by the CMS.
