how to install vbulletin forum

i have uploaded vbulletin forum to my server. i need to know how to install it.

same prob here, but getting this prob.

Did you check to make sure everything was typed in correctly, (It's case sensitive)

ex.

For the mysql database you made.. the database forum

your database for the install would then be

cpanellogin_forum

then you made an account.. and then gave it permission to connect to that database..

cpanellogin_dblogin

But... when you typed everything in for the installer

cpaenllogin_Forum

cpanellogin_DBLogin

OH NOZ!! It can't have capitals if you didn't make it that way!

I had that problem when installing PHPBB3.

Suggestion 2: Post on the vBulletin forums help.

Wow, on free hosting but with a 'valid' vBulletin license?

Tell some one to do it for you and give them the cpanel login. Its very simple, to install a board, I have done this more than a dozen times LOL

its so simple may be you have not uploaded the files correctly...try ziping the file and then upload and extract the zippied file on the server using extract here....CHMOD everything as descrided and there u go...
one suggestion domot give your cPAnel login and vB lic. to anybody....
