To login to cPanel, it will be your subdomain http://name.x10hosting.com/cpanel and your login info will be your user and pass that you provided. When you log in, click 'File Manager'; when the new window/tab comes up, access the public_html folder and upload your files there.

I have tried accessing the cpanel with the username and pswd but doesn't work...

Does it take sometime to be active after signing up?

    cheers

Yes, you have to wait awhile. You will receive a confirmation email when it has been created.

I suppose by now the confirmation email with cpanel log in must have arrived. In that case a good ftp client, like filezilla would help to upload your files to public_html folder.

If u use filemanager, via cpanel, that would only be good if u have a few files & no complex directory/subdirectory structure. In that case, simply zip the whole site folder & upload it, via filemanager & uncompress in public_html.

    I hope that helps
