Installing other software, Like Imagemagick

How would I go about getting software like ImageMagick (http://www.imagemagick.org/script/index.php), which is a requirement for Gallery 2 (http://gallery.menalto.com/), installed on my site? I'm not familiar with how to install software in this manner

To install software, download the install pack. Upload it to the directory you want to install it in. Extract it and go to the URL of the install script ;)
