could someone please tell me how i delete databases

i have deleted them from file manager but they are still showing in control pannel (where it sais 3/3)

Are you sure you don't have any fantastico scripts and such installed?
I believe they each take up one database.
If you don't, then you only need one database, and you can use tables within it.
Also, try going to phpMyAdmin and deleting them there.
