    Unable to install forums?

Whenever I try to install vBulletin onto my site, I get this error message:

Warning: ignore_user_abort() has been disabled for security reasons in /home/vinas/public_html/forum/install/installcore.php on line 15

Anyone have any ideas why and if I can fix it?

I think you need to upgrade yous PHP, you can do that by login on to your account page and at the bottom of the page

When you are logged into the forums you will see a drop down menu on the top navigation bar. Click on 'x10" to see the menu, then click on 'modify account." From there you can log into your host account. I believe you can also access your host account from your cPanel.

Toward the bottom left on the account page you will see the option to request a php upgrade. Intermediate should be all you need.

Thanks very much. All done now.
    Edit:
PHP has been updated but I'm still getting the same error message.

Maybe the information you told the forum installation is wrong?

And, what level of php did you upgrade to?

I get the error before I can install. When I first go to the install.php page.
I upgraded to the intermediate one as it said the advanced was just for those who really needed it (assumed I didn't really need it).
