Question on HTML editing

Sorry if this sounds really stupid but I'm really stuck.

When I use the HTML editor, I code it in the HTML Code section instead of the design section. When I preview it, it looks fine. But I have to switch back to the design section to save, and when I save and look at the page it's all messed up.

try pasting to notepad first then copy that and paste it to your editor

i think i had the same prob before
