Howto add ad's in drupal

I have made an website in druapl, but I've didn't figure out how, you can place the ad's an the pages, I know that it is an rule, and I don't want to go against the rules, so how do you do it?

P.S.: I still haven't found an answer to this on the forum, and I'm using version 5.x of drupal.

Hi it is possible to add pictures using the admin tools - for example, a custom logo. There is no reason why a banner ad can't be put in place. Otherwise, you will have to work with the style sheets, templates etc.
