Also what do you guys think of mkPortal.

Its a multi forum portal system. It has support for the following boards:

Invision Power Board 2.x
Phpbb 2.x
Simple Machines 1.x
Vbullettin 3.x

I've used phpbb, IPB, and smf out of them smf is the best! it has the best features and you dont have to manually install the mods it does it for you!
