you should change the version of your php.
to do this ,first go to x10hosting homepage -> then enter uar UN and PassW and login (remember-this is not your Cpanal userID,use uar forum userID)
then you will b shown your website status(apachi srver,and many).
below that fill the form to change your php version. try to enter the proper reason(also u should have more than 30 to 50 posts in your forum) orelse your request will be denied by the x10hosting official members.

Go to http://x10hosting.com/login - put in your FORUM USERNAME & PASSWORD.

Scroll down to PHP Version, then request the intermidate version of PHP. Just put you need the ()mail function & for what reason you need it.

Okay so you have set up the right version of PHP, something must be wrong with your code then, could you post the code with the settings for 'mail' as I need to know weather it is sending it using an email account, sendmail or PHP...
