Phpbb 3 RC 7 Installation Error

I cannot install phpbb 3.
The install/index.php just stays blank.
I changed the chmod to 755 using the SmartFtp and the zip file method. I also done updating to Intermediate PHP Configuration. There said u currently have this version.

Just goto /index.php. If you have already installed it then you need to delete the 'install' and 'contrib' folders, then try the first step over again. If this doesn't work then you could delete the whole thing, including any MySQL tables if you have already made any, then install everything from the beginning.

Okay i had this problem, you have to upgrade the php version in your account settings to "Intermediate PHP Configuration"
To change go to www.x10hosting.com/account Then request the upgrade to "Intermediate PHP Configuration"

Hope this works. It did work for me.
Then the php will work on the install page.
