css problem

My website glasgowmuseums.x10hosting.com is a xhtml document with css. my website wont display the css if i use the correct sytex of putting a / and the end of the link tag.

i have validated this website using http://validator.w3.org/. I need it do work correctly as it is for uni.

EDIT: Its ok i solved it. Can some tell me what the differnece is between setting language from english to english utf8

saleh85, try visiting cssplay.co.uk for great ideas on using CSS, especially for the menu bars. You'll learn quite a bit with the examples given.
