I have logged into my cpanel and tried to install a script that used to be in the site software section, but now is empty with a messege to ask support to re-install software to my package.

Use Fantastico. What you are trying to access has old scripts in it.

I have logged into my cpanel and tried to install a script that used to be in the site software section, but now is empty with a messege to ask support to re-install software to my package.

That feature is being discontinued by Cpanel - as most of the "Site Software" can now be found in Fantastico anyway. ( Or be manually installed )
