Not everybody likes ASP but I think it's OK.
I'd like to be able to run some .asp scripts, how could we make this happen.
I'm aware of a bunch of OS related issues but if PHP can run on Windows why not get ASP running on Linux?

Because the currently the only implementation for ASP for apache is APACHE:ASP and its fairly unstable and is resource intensive. x10 is LAMP host, if you're looking for a free ASP host, you can google 'em :P
There is currently limited support for aspx scripts now, but not ASP.
Easiest 70 points you'll make on x10

ASP won't run on Linux because ASP is made by Microsoft.
Microsoft is an EXTREMELY capitalist company and if they can get people to use ASP, why not make it only available on Windows so even more money comes? Also, why not make Microsoft SQL Server the native Database for ASP, so ASP users are encouraged to purchase SQL Server because ASP loves it so much?
Oh Yay, I wish I was Bill Gates so I could fill my swimming pool with MONEY!
