Preparing to upload guestbook script

Hi. Thanks Kaja and ctadmin for your help with making folders for my guestbook (See earlier threads - How do I create folders on my web server? and More help re creating folders please).
I am now working from the 'Set up and configuration' section of the Stadtaus guestbook instructions.

The first thing the instructions tell me is type in the MySQL access data into the 'config.php' file. I have already created the database and the user, and therefore know the name and username of the database, and the database password.

However I do not have the name of the database server / localhost. Where do I find this information?

Secondly, please explain the following statement from the guestbook instructions:-

$database ['prefix'] To tell apart the guestbook script tables from the existing ones you can add a prefix to the database table names.

What are these 'tables' they are talking about, and why would there already be some 'existing ones'? Also, can you suggest what sort of prefix I should put in? :dunno:

The database is your MYSQL database. Those would be cpanelusername_databasename.
