Help instaling zen cart

Hi newbee here

I have been trying to install zen cart for about an hour now

I managed to get into the instalation now I am being asked for a database host.

i have tried: Localhost
Localhost.x10hosting.com
Mysql.x10hosting.com

all to no avail. i have created and re-created a database

Ok I have done a search and found that:- mysql.x10hosting.com is the database host.

The error now is:- cannot conect to msql server on 'mysql.x10hosting.com'

Has anyone got any ideas??

do you mean just 'localhost' as database host?
