We know this x10 forum is powered with VB.
i am talking about one of its features.When we made a post in this forum,it is just added to the page with out actually reloading the page.You might have noticed it.
But i want to know the name of this technique.
What this technique is called?

Atlast i got the answer for my question.
Its AJAX technology.I got the answer from corey.

But does any one knows how to implement AJAX in e107 forums.???

You have to search plugins.e107.com for AJAX or use a integration system with e107 and phpBB/SMF and get an AJAX quick reply. Or something like that.

It's been implemented before but I don't know really how excatly.

Mmm. I don't really know any AJAX <-> e107 experts on this forum, but if you ask for some help on the e107 forum you should get a response. (Do they have anything implemented on their main site?)

AJAX is the technology being utilised, it's a page in page method I believe that's used for the posting without reloading.

yaa its true.AJAX also saves both the server side and client side time and resource.The full form of AJAX is Asynchronous JavaScript and XML.

It's on phpbb's mod site. For PHPBB3 it's called quick reply (haha) and I'm pretty sure their are quite a few using phpbb2.
