Can someone post up a step by step guide to adding a shoutbox to an SMF forum? i uloaded all the files and everything. all i need to do is edit the code. but i cant find the code i have to edit. i have seaerched for 2 days now >_____> someone please help.

There are multiple shoutbox modifications for SMF that would allow you to easily add a shoutbox onto your forums, without editing any files.

If you want some help installing them, or you any other help with SMF then the best place to ask is in the SMF community forums, because there are many people there who know about SMF.

ok i went there, logged in and tried to make a new thread, but i dont see it where is the new thread button?.....

Ask in the SMF Coding section, for coding help. There should be a a button which says New Topic. It will only work if you have made a SMF account though.

i already have an account and it still wont work but i found out how to already anbyway lol thanks a lot ;)
