    joomla visual integration

    I am using joomla. How can i visually integrate

    so when you go to forums sierri community the forums will be visually integrated with joomla.

    There is an entire board on the SMF community forums which looks at integration with Joomla.

    well i only want to visually integrate them, joomla won't have a login option so I wont need a bridge . Visual integration like this http://forum.joomla.org/ you see how the phpbb board is under the joomla menu. Can anyone help

    Do you want the joomla logins to be integrated with the forum or not? Cause putting the forum on a joomla page is one thing, integrating permissions, user groups tables and a bunch of other stuff is a different story.

    You will probably have to create your own theme for both SMF and wordpress to archieve the level of visual integration which that site has.

    Have a look through the SMF forum on making themes and theme related issues.

    Orif you have a sufficent knowledge of php you could embed the board into a joomla page, I'm not sure how J! does it on their site though.
