How to charge my customers using Credit cards and debit card

    Hello All,

I have to charge my customers for the service I provide.

They currently use PayPal, but many complaints of why do I dont have a payment option directly using banking gateways.

Can someone share some knowledge as to how can I achieve doing this? Is there any sort of API etc for this ?

    Thanks,
    Imoracle

You would have to do that through either the credit card company or a third party that would take care of all the credit card company stuff.

no, PayPal can do this. I know since I'm a PayPal certified developer. (one of 250 in the world)

If you just have a personal account, you can't but if you get at least a Premium (business recommended) then your customers can pay you with PayPal, e-check, MasterCard, American Express, Visa, and Discover.

If you have a premium or business account at PayPal I can help you set it up. There are two ways to do it:

the easy way, the customer gets re-directed to PayPal and pays, using any of the payment methods mentioned above, then gets directed back to your site. no monthly fee.

or the hard way, the customer never leaves your site, and enters their payment info on your website, this requires a good SSL certificate, takes a while to set up, and requires a $30/month fee with PayPal.

Both these options are cheaper than going through the credit card companies unless you're handling thousands of transactions per month.

yes it will, but it won't be as professional looking... for example, instead of the customer seeing "My Company Name" they'll see more like "my@email.com" and a few other small things... Shouldn't bother you unless you're trying to look as much as a business as you can.

Go to "Merchant Services" on the top to get started. I think that's what it's called...

orders@mycompany.com will be best in my opinion. admin works too, so does info...
