Wordpress is designed for blogging, and although there are a lot of modifications for it that will turn it into a CMS, I wouldn't advise using them. They tend to have major issues with issues (from past experience).

If possible, your best bet is to write your own in PHP and MySQL, but if you don't have the knowledge necessary for this, Joomla would be your best bet. It's pretty user friendly and there are loads of good skins for it.

And yet, there was no posts to ask the members here - who a lot are quite talented with Joomla, could of helped you.

As I mentioned in your OTHER exact thread ... there has been numerous threads created in the past relating to "Best CMS" or "Good CMS" ... or just debating on what to use for a CMS.

Try searching. Once you find one you are interested in - post for some help. Our members would be glad to assist.

I would say Joomla without any doubts ;) Look how successfully it worked for me - http://tutorials.sohailtech.com/. It's fully customizable, flexible, and powerful. It's easy to use too - http://joomla.org/
