    lightweight laptops

I'm getting a new notebook PC and I need help with finding a good laptop that's preferably under 4 pounds. I need a fairly fast processor but the big thing is upgradable ram, and hard disk space. CD drive is not needed. Anyone know of a pc?

why are you so concerned about weight?
its pretty tough to upgrade a laptop.. if you want to upgrade you might as well get a desktop...

buying a laptop makes no sense to me, getting a desktop which goes the same speed will reduce the cost massively

Well that all depends on what your using it for? the weight dosent really matter the performance and how it does what you want it to do does. to me i see no use of lightweight laptops but thats just my opnion.

Wow! Where on earth do you live? Only areas here that have Wi-Fi are expensive and fancy restaurants.. I heard San Francisco is going to have public Wi-Fi soon..
