    GeIP Script Help

    trying to install this GeIP script but i keep getting theses errors

    It's got nothing to do with PHP version, that's caused by a script not working properly and passing bad variables to PHP's functions. the script may have been wirtten for PHP4, and not work with PHP5.

    Upgrading is actually the same advice he got in this topic :P

    I agree, though, that his php level *might* not be the cause. It looks like the fopen() function failed somewhere, but I don't see that in the errors. If errors are being suppressed on it, then it's possible there was a "function disabled" error which we aren't seeing. Or it could even be that fopen() isn't being called.

    Pasting/attaching the file would be helpful in sorting this out. You might as well try upgrading too.
