need help in Joomla

i have created two sections in my joomla site, and i have linked them. i had created two modules in both the group. whenver i publish an article it gets published, it starts showing up on the section page. how can i make my Joomla work in such a way that the article is published and can be shown in the module but it does not show when somebody visits the section, instead when the person visites the section he is just seeing those modules.

OR in other words :
how can i make the articles not to appear in the main body but are published and can be read.
