Anyone know any good ways to create a photo album for a site?

In answer to your question - yes.
for an example see:

Try googling the question there are dozens of php/mysql open source and there are hundreds of html automated graphic pages. Take your pick. Have you checked what is here in Fantastico, there are 3 in there and they install automatically. I have used Coppermine it is very good.
Even i want to create a photogallery. since i dont have the time to code it myself, i thought of finding one. But unfortunately, none of them satisfied me. Even i am looking for a good one. Even i tried Coppermine. But i couldnt setup within short time. It became a mess and then i uninstalled.
If anyone of you could find a good one or have used a good one, post it here as it will be helpful for many.

I think patience is a great enemy when setting things up like picture galleries. They are in there very nature, time consuming. Whether it's the uploading of photos, resizing and displaying. Photo albums do seem to take a relentless amount of time to set up, I haven't found a single OutOfTheBox that works like i want it to. Best thing is to use something like coppermine and tweak it manually, it'll take time, but it's most certainly worth it.

So thats where it went! I thought i was losing my mind.
Depending on what you want to do a javascript gallery might be easier to use and prettier.
It's not good if you want to constantly upload a ton of pictures, but for a personal website or something of that nature I'd use Galleria, Smooth Gallery, or Highslide.
Do you want a full flight gallery site,
or just a webpage for your images, but your images are placed in a nice way.
