Wordpress and PHP security

I'm trying to install Wordpress and it gives me

Warning: getmypid() has been disabled for security reasons in /home/bitbyte/public_html/wordpress/wp-includes/class-phpass.php on line 52

So. Should I upgrade to intermediate or advanced php? If neither what should I do? Thanks.

Just upgrade to intermediate php.

That should do the trick.

However, depending on what server you are on, the AMP (Account Management Panel) may be unfunctional.

If it is, just wait until after the move..
