Does anyone know of any good, reliable scripts that will allow people to register on my site and give them access to otherwise hidden parts of my site? Thanks

well if you want to include forums, you can use fluxbb/punbb. you can integrate the essential parts of the forums, and use the conditional `if (!$pun['is_guest']) { echo "user is logged in" }`.

other than that, if you're looking for a site that manages members and stuff, one of my friends from back in the day when i was on another host (now defunct), has a couple of good software hosted on his site. as of now, it's not online, but he redesigned his site and still hasn't uploaded anything yet. he says that he's gonna be working on it and that was early jan late dec ;)
