    Help with stopping bot registrations

I am having issues with bots registering on my site & posting spam on my forums. Anyone know how to stop this on PHP Nuke i think its 7.6 or 8 something. I tryed banning ips & removing users and just out right deleting the posts but I can't stop them. I need to see if there is a way to use word verification on the nuke that i am using. http://www.hells-revenge.net . If anyone can help PLEASE, any help is greatly appericiated.

Do you have a CAPTCHA? If you do and this does not stop it, there is a vulnerability on PHPNuke 7.* http://www.securityfocus.com/bid/16722/info

I use simple machines forum, and it has the ability to verify that an email address' MX records are valid, sends a verification e-mail, uses CAPTCHA for signups, and the first 10 posts any user makes must be approved by a mod. I have had no problems whatsoever and I highly recommend http://www.simplemachines.org

Yeah, captcha will work. Try email verification. There might be some anti-spam plugins for nuke.

Yeah there should be an option in the control panel of PHPNuke.

phpBB3 is what I use for my forums and it uses both CAPTCHA and e-mail verification - works well.
