you can go to your cpanel then click fantastico
At there you can install Mambo for your community site..

Just go to Mambo Admin control Panel
then go to the installers menu right next too mambots
then components..
then upload it and it should be installed after that..

EDIT: If you want to install modules and mambots use the same procedure above but go to the modules or mambots link..

in addition to above

while installing ,first unpack locally and checkwhether there are all files with same names as stated in xml file. Sometimes these are corrupted. in such cases ..go to hoting control panel home>public_html>mambo directory>components/modules>delete all files...

repeat process...
