Quickie on grunge

    1. Open up a new document as u probably already have done.

    2. go to Filter > Render > Clouds

    3. Now u need to take your grunge brushes out.

    4. Have your colors on Default (Black and white) press D

    5. Now the fun starts. use several grunge brushes and place them on the sig. (Take the brush and point it where you want it to be. left click once or twice in that area to get the effect of the brush.) REMEMBER: Grunge brushes usually arent made to be dragged around! one or 2 short clicks is usually enough!!!

    6. Once u have the layer almost filled with grunge, flip the foreground color to White

    7. Now click around the layer with a few brushes again.

    8. You will be getting a good black and white look now. so keep going back and forth between brushes and black and white for the foreground colors. Make a few more layers after you think one layer is "done".

*If you want to make a good contrast color the layers with the \"colorization\" section of this tutorial. it will take you through a step by step tutorial on how to make it look more colorful and skilled.

    * If you are going for a normal grunge make the black and white even out, or focus more on 1 color if u wanna go for the grunge angelic look or the evil dungeon look *

Once u are done with the above steps in the 1st part of the tutorial, look at your grunge.

look at the color of the layer(s) and where u want to place the built in images.

once u find the place, and the overall colors of the areas you wish to put the pic in we can start.

    1. Find the color of the area. (is it motly black, white, or what?)

    2. Find the brush u wish to use

    3. Take the opposite color of the primary color in the place u are to put the image brush. If the area you wish to put the brush is generally black, choose white as a foreground color, or white, choose black.

    4. Take out the image brush.

    5. Put the image in the area you want it.

*6. Put a light grunge around the outside edges of the image. REMEMBER!LIGHT!!!

*this helps it blend if it is not already.

    Now you are done. Congratz.

LOL, you can't link to something on your PC using a file system URL. That's basically telling me browser, yo noob, go to MATTS documents (which doesn't exist and get a file that doesn't exists). :hsdance:

*Edit: Oh yeah, forgot to mention. Nice tut. very clear and instructional. Good work. 10/10!
