joomla template installation

hi am new to joomla .
i installed joomla using softaculous and it working well.
Wat i need to know right now is how to install a new template in joomla.

The problem is the unzip. If you unzip the template,plugin,module file manualy through file explorel, you can install proceed to installation without any problem giving the path of the folder.
