PhpBB 3 installation tutorial

1. Upgrade to intermeditate php version in your account panel.

2. Download phpBB 3 from www.phpbb.com

3. Create your sql database called ex. forum

4. add the user Ex. forum to the database

5. Upload phpBB 3

6. Now surf to the directory like this http://domain.name/forum

7. You will now get redirected to the installation page.

8. Read trought everythink until you come to the page you should fill in your information

9. Fill in your info in the fields. Skip the SMTP section.

10. Press install.

11. Delete the install directory.

Inserting the ads

12. Login and go to tha Administration control panel.

13. Press on styles.

14. press templates

15. press edit.

16. find overall_header.html if you have the corporate plan. Overall_footer.html for the other ad plans (I think)

17. Scroll to the bottom. Add <center>*your ad code here*</center> to the file and save.

Making forums

18. Go to the forums tab

19. fill in the name of the forum and press "create new forum"

20. enter description and press create

21. fill in the permissions for every group.
