installing cutenews ?

i've tried tons of times, and im still having problems.
okay so i've followed TONS of tutorials,etc.
i download the file, upload it on my ftp, chmod it and its all fine.
and then i try "mysite.com/cutenews" and all i get is, "404 page not found"
whats wrong ? The folder IS there, and i've deleted/re-uploaded it tons of times.
can someone PLEASE help me ? :happysad:

I know this isn't really relevant to the topic but do not use CuteNews. It used to be a nice script until the author decided to abandon it. Use an alternative like WebMobo or Fusion News.
