    Create Nameless Folder

    Today i got some free time and i will explain here how to create a folder with out name.It worked for windows XP.Not sure about others as i didn't checked.


    To create a nameless folder.
    1)
    Go to a folder which you wish to do this trick.
    2)Right click that folder.
    3)Select Rename.And by pressing ALT key type 255 (use number keys which are on right side of keyboard.)
    4)Congrats Nameless folder is ready.

    Nameless folder is usually good for nothing.
    Butsome says Usefull for FTP and whatever else you might want it for.

    Or you could just press the space bar!! (Alt 255 inserts a space).

    You will just have a folder with a space as the name. I don't think it will behave any differently from a normal folder.

    I just tested it and it works, but you may need to encode the URL using %... instead of a space.

    instead of url.com/ /namelessfile youd need %20 in the url to emulate the space aka, the nameless folder will be represented as %20 in the url, such as if i wanted to access the file, textfile.txt in the nameless folder, assuming its on the root of my site.

    http://mysite.com/%20/textfile.txt

    again because %20 represents the space in a url, even though %20 is not the folder name.

    Space bar does not work.

    Find a blank icon and set the folder to that. Then it will be completely hidden!
