Bandwitdh/traffic question

I've joined recently on the free sever plan. My question is, how many visitors am I allowed before my bandwidth for the month gets used up? I had another site on another account previously (now deleted) and got about 300 visits a day and my bandwidths bar (in account panel) was almost half filled at one stage.

For example, if I get 2,000 visitors a day will this exceed my allowance?

Is there a visitor limit or is the bandwidth determined by other factors?


Sorry if the question sounds stupid. I'd rather ask now than have problems later.

You can monitor how much of your bandwidth allowance you have used up, by viewing it in your cPanel. That is probably the easiest way I can answer your question, because I don't know how much bandwidth each of your individual visitors would use up. Bandwidth is simply the amount of data that passes through.

You would have to describe your type of site & see if anyone here has a similar site that could give you the answer to actual visitor numbers.

Unfortunately, due to the server upgrade work going on, many people are having log-in problems just now.

Hopefully that will be fixed shortly.

Well I'm planning on using the Wordpress.org platform for my blog and will be using the Arthemia Premium theme and it may look something like that. The only difference may be that I won't be placing large scale ads. The site will mostly conisst of text, with only medium sized images plus YouTube video links. I will probably have a few widgets as well.


Anyways, if worst come to worst, I can always pay for the premium service. :rant2:
