    Login to http://x10hosting.com/panel.php or cPanel.

There you can find your domain, which is your URL. Your domain will point to public_html folder in file manager,

So let’s say you want to publish mytest.html and your domain is me.x10hosting.com

You would save mytest.html in public_html folder and your URL would be
    http://me.x10hosting.com/mytest.html

    Re: easy question...

I'm also a noob at this, and I want to either:

Edit what http://me.x10hosting.com/ shows (the Index, which I haven't found in the file manager)

Or have it redirect to http://me.x10hosting.com/main.html, which also I'm having difficulties with. When I add the redirect, it causes a loop that seems to time out every time I try to test it.

This should be a good and easy question too! Sorry for hijacking the thread.

    hello zanthir,

first of all i doubt if tutorial is the right section to post this but that aside...

the two links you provided take me to a page that tells me there's no account registered but assuming that those links are just examples...

Edit what http://me.x10hosting.com/ shows (the Index, which I haven't found in the file manager)
you probably want to go to the public_html folder in your filemanager and overwrite or replace the index.html

don t forget to clear your browser if your changes do not show up after the update

PS .. you can also edit that file like you said
