Hello,
I am currently using my vps to host a chat script. My chat script is pretty light but soon i am going to add an "audio video module (cam chat facility) to my chat room. My current S1 plan would not be able to handle the load. Could you suggest me a better plan for a video chat script?

I don't have an idea. but once i had turned it on and my memory usage ran upto 0.9G (with no users inside the chat room). perhaps 4 GB Ram would be enough but have no idea about CPU usage.

By going through the code you should be able to tell how much RAM you will need (how it will scale according to user) and then get an average from that. Worse comes to worse you upgrade your upgrade, which in my memory is very easily done.

You could open a ticket and ask if you can get a temporary upgrade to S3 or S5 to test the ram usage.
