What happens to previous 2 backups after third is generated

I have setup the backup on .vm and I already have 2 backups their.

I just want to query what happens when the third backup is generated?

Does LRU rules follows here?

LRU? I am not sure, I would think they get deleted.

The automated backup overrides the limit.
I had two backups, but it still made another backup.

If that's the case I will setup a script to clear then, the oldest will be deleted.

Yes please do so.... Let the oldest one gets deleted or overwritten
