well proxies are a great way but do you expect that you are allowed to install TOR?

In my school, some teachers doesen't even let us install firefox on our USB drives and run it at school :/

Our security restrictions prevent us from running any .bat, .exe and the like. It sucks =[

Umm yeah one problem proxy sites are either all banned or banned the day you use them. But most schools do not block metacafe, or break which are youtube alternatives and whats the point of myspace in school most of your friends are in school with you. lmao

On the last day/last couple days of school, schools should shut the blocks off, as what good is the blocks if it's all review/exams?

As i have said, even private proxies, brand new ones that mates have made, are blocked at my school. You have no hope of getting any site that is blocked to show up unless you submit a request to whitelist a website.

I have seen mates make their own passworded private home proxies, and when they try connect at school, they are blocked.

Https requests are blocked at my school also, personally i think that's the way it should be, at high school you are there to learn, if you don't want to, leave school and get a job.

I am telling you, even if you build your own proxy at my school you WILL NOT be able to use it, it will already be blocked, they block sites realtime. I dunno how, but they know whenever you visit a proxy site, even if you build your own proxy.

I had a proxy on my old host, and used it at school. It lasted about 2 hours before it was blocked.

have you guys heard of portable apps?
http://portableapps.com/

well I use it for FF since my school sucks and still uses IE. but i've noticed in cp. graphics class when I go onto proxies, I don't get caught while my friend right beside me, got caught. They reported him for going on porn sites, which he didn't even do.

if anyone else can back this up; I love to hear so I can use it freely
but this will not get you past blocks, it just doesn't report anything I guess

prx.xarus.net

the username and password are xarus.

I don't know of any blocking system that has blocked this yet. My teachers are really pissed at the kid who made it, but they won't do anything to him, because he has three lawsuits lined up that they know they couldn't defend.

I hope this helps!

lanSchool can block this

Our custom filter blocks random sites. But their all set manually by the web server admin at our school.

My admin can block whatever she wants Http or https. Anything with the word proxy is automaticly blacklisted unless she whitelists it herself.

just wait so that you can get home! u just want to break the rules.. ^^
Not everyone has internet at home >.>

My school sucks. So, the blocked stuff can easily seen by using basic proxies. I think the reason is that the school has given up on blocking crap for years and haven't added recent proxies to blocked list. They used to (2 years ago) try their hardest to block anything not school related even https:// sites. But, people like me use hardcore programs to find out admin password for issued laptops and find ways around DNS blockage. They even got stupid enough to block their own website pages. xD I don't know what has happenned since two years ago, but they got really stupid and haven't blocked the proxy I have used. We are supposed to get in trouble for games, but nothing has been done to me even though I was caught once. When I was, they fixed my laptop problems. LMAO!
