I was going through the steps to pay for premium hosting, however, I realized that I saw no option to upgrade from a free account. This was troublesome as from what I understand, the premium accounts are hosted on separate servers than x10's free accounts.

I already have a free account with a full published site, including database driven applications. I am not entirely sure I wish to recreate some of this and lose the info I already have.

Is there a means to upgrade an existing account to premium status, or would I need to create a whole new account for the premium hosting? If a new account is needed, I can more than likely handle the transition, but it is definitely not a preferable option.

The steps are to first buy the premium hosting, and then after that, submit a support ticket in the clients area to move your free account to your new paid account. Be sure to include all of your free account information to be moved.

And how long is this expected to take after receiving the info? Furthermore, am I looking at changing link paths and such on the webpages themselves? Lastly, I have a .com domain pointed to my free account, will I also have to change the domain forward to a new x10 address?

The Paid client tickets are way faster than the free ones; they go through a completely different system that notifies admins directly as opposed to it being filed on the forums

Regarding the paths, I think no need of changing them only server address is changing it doesn't change any paths as you will have same cpanel username and path structure

Entire account moved so you domain is also moved to new address.
