My domain is registered with GoDaddy.
I'd like to create a site with x10hosting web builder, and make it accessible through mydomain.com

Is it possible to connect x10Hosting to mydomain.com with a CNAME instead of changing the name servers? (I'd like to keep using GoDaddy's name servers)

-
as a security and verification test - to prevent users from attempting domain hijacking - x10hosting has set these requirements for free-hosting accounts - you need to set the DNS (Domain Name System) [ NS ] records (for your domain) to x10hosting's nameservers [ ns1.x10hosting.com ] and [ ns2.x10hosting.com ] for all [ Addon ] or [ Parked (same as 'Aliases')] domains - instead of DNS [ A ] or [ CNAME ] record - before you can add the domain (in cPanel) as an [ Addon ] or [ Parked (same as 'Aliases') ] domain

just adding an DNS [ A ] and/or [ CNAME ] record will not work

after you have added the domain to your x10hosting account - you can change the domain's DNS zone (A Records, CNAME records, etc.) with the [ Advanced DNS Editor ] at cPanel-x3's home page - you can revert back to your own (or other) nameservers afterwards if you prefer
###

1. Point your domain to x10hosting's DNS name servers
2. Wait for it to propagate
3. Add the domain as a [ Parked (same as 'Aliases') ] or [ Addon domain ]
4. Point your domain back to your DNS name server
5. Add an DNS [ A ] record (with a IP address) for your domain - on your name server to point to which x10hosting's free-hosting server your account is on

I did as you recommended and switched the name servers to x10Hosting.
The website works well but I have a problem with receiving emails.

I'm trying to use Zoho mail with my website.
I added a CNAME record (Type=CNAME; name=zb
Code:
.mydomain.com.; Record=zmverify.zoho.com) and also added three MX records (mx.zoho.com; mx2.zoho.com; mx3.zoho.com)

I am able to send email through my Zoho email account. However, I cannot receive email to Zoho account. The emails are returned to sender with an error message "550 Please turn on SMTP Authentication in your mail client. [URL='http://mail-vk0-f50.google.com/']mail-vk0-f50.google.com[/URL] [209.85.213.50]:36808 is not permitted to relay through this server without authentication."

What should I do in order to receive emails into the Zoho account?

Thanks
