Hi.
In the past months, I have logged into my account 3-4 times per month to update pages, yet I have been getting suspended notices for inactivity.

Several times each month I log in at https://x10hosting.com/sso/login using my user name and password, then I use the Cpanel to upload updated pages. This is done on the palemoon browser using Windows-7.

In order to keep my website alive, I have used the solution to wait for an inactivity suspension notice, then log into the "Un-suspend page", because it works, and will keep my website online for another 30 days.

Is it possible to get the server to recognize that there is not a condition of inactivity?

Thanks in advance.

PS. I see other forum posts reporting this same problem, but no solutions are shown:

Aren't you using any VPN? VPN Matters too. The location or IP Address you use.

Hi mauwiksx,

I don't know much about VPN or whether I have it or not. Is it necessary?

What I know is I access the internet through a DSL modem that sends a wifi signal to my wifi receiver on the computer. I use only Windows 7 and palemoon browser to access the login website, and no other software, proxies or networks. Sometimes I connect the computer to a cable modem using an RJ22 cable, and the computer makes the connection directly to the modem. There is only one computer connected to my ISP service. This is the same setup I have had for several years, without any problems of false inactivity suspensions.
I have been getting false inactivity suspensions only for the past 6 months or so, with no change to my computer or ISP.

I checked online HERE to find my IP address from a hardwired cable modem and got this result:
Your Public IPv6 is: 2600:8801:ff00:100:a4ed:f513:5f52:5ad8
Location: Atlanta, GA US
Your IPv4 is: 72.220.115.15
ISP: Cox Communications LLC

Checking the log I see that you did last log in to the account on December 9, prior to that the most recent login was noted on November 5 and the one before that on October 3. Basically I see them as being roughly once a month and only once per month.

Note that loging into any other location then the sso one will not count towards activity.

Yes it doesn't, have you also tried to see what is your IP when connecting through your wifi receiver? Aprat from the wired and direct one. Make it sure you are not using a different IPs because they will truly suspend you for doing so eveb you don't know it. That what happened to me before. And the above comment is true. Logging in from another location doesn't count or worse they will suspend your account without a notice

Hi,
Thank you for the information. I actually did log on at least 4 times between November 5 and December 9. The only time my logon was recognized was apparently at the time I was directed to the "Unsuspend" link, and after logging on I saw the notice that the account was successfully unsuspended. The reason it appears I log on only once a month is because the only logons that are recognized by the server happen when I respond to a warning notice that the account is suspended and I need to un-suspend it.

What is the sso location? where do I need to go to find it?

I travel between three cities with a laptop and use the ISP that is available at the location where I am at. The internet service is usually from one of my two work locations, or from my home location. In a few rare cases, I might log on from a wifi at a Starbucks shop or a restaurant. How can I find out which locations are invisible to the website server that tracks the logons?

Best wishes,
